Default Newbie to TI - Problem "Rotating Just Enough"

I am a newbie to TI freestyle although i learnt butterfly the TI way.
i have been starting with lesson one like streamlining etc which i
find comfortable. Trouble is when i start with "Rotating Just Enough"
i find my head also turns towards the direction of the shoulders
or put in other words, am unable to rotate the hips seperately rather
the whole body rotates and hence finding difficult to keep the
head still.

Not sure if any one experienced scuh bizzare things. any help
in this regard will be appreciated.

I think the answer to this problem is rather simple. PUt yourself above the black line at the bottom of the pool, and look straight down at it. As you extend into skate, keep your neck relaxed and your eyes focused on the black line.

Another thing that I used from my dance background is to practice rotating while standing in your house looking at a mirror. Look yourself in the eyes. It is a bit easier to separate your head and shoulders standing up. Then try it in the pool.
