![]() I was just wondering if anybody else here feels swimming or triathlon has helped them to recover from alcohol or drug abuse. I am curious based upon my own experience in this regard and as I am doing a study on the topic.
Thanks in advance! |

![]() I think yes!An alcoholic person may suffer from many health problems like high blood pressure, heart problems and anxiety. Exercise can help them regain their strength and energy.I have read about some former alcoholic who successfully overcame alcoholism with the help of swimming/running.They were hopeless and they took this decision to improve their health and life.So their life changed.Exercise clears your mind. You will become positive. You can rarely think about anything negative.Your body is on the move and you’re aiming for a distance.
Triathlons have one of the healthiest and fittest bodies in the world. |
