I just saw this reported on the news. They plan to make what is already a very nice local swim club into a facility to attract elite swimmers nationwide.

Coincidentally I just joined Meadowbrook a few days ago, and plan to take my first swim this weekend. Unlike many of the clubs I looked at, it was a real swim club, not a health club with a pool added as an afterthought.

It's about a twenty minute ride up the light rail from my neighborhood, and there is a Whole Foods nearby, so I can combine swimming and shopping trips.
