![]() Good to hear! What events will she compete at? I read she swims 100s fs, bk and fly and also the 400s fs.
As for the battle on the 400 reported by ZT: amazing race, there's always a lot to learn from the paralympics. By watching this video again I paid much attention to the american swimmer (the one who finished 2nd): not only she doesn't use her legs for propulsion, but neither for rotation or core stability. Her body looks pretty floppy, not taut at all. And, in spite of this, she's very smooth, high in the water and fast. I thought a taut surfboard-like body was essential to fast swimming, perhaps she has a hidden core strength? Salvo |

![]() Hi Salvo,
I'm not sure if Natalie's's events have been announced yet, but last I heard: 400 free relay, 100 free, 200 free, and possibly 200 IM. I suspect there have been some changes since training in Houston. Stuart |

![]() All very inspiring stuff.
And from here in San Diego, we have met Roy a few times at dog training but had no idea he was such an accomplished swimmer. At the end you will see him with is dog on the trails near here. Here’s hoping he does well in Rio. https://vimeo.com/120615825 |
