Default improving my 1500

Hello TI pals --

I am looking for some tips on improving my 1500 if possible. I usually swim twice a day: once in the morning and once at lunch. I find I can't wait to get back in the pool after an hour or so break.

Currently I am swimming in 25m pool and average between 24-26 SPL. I am trying to incorporate the TI principles of:
- spearing, skating, gliding, kicking from the hip for balance, high elbow recovery and keeping my head down.

With all these things in mind I always seem to swim around a 33 minute 1500m.

Another thing I've noticed when I begin my first 200m and begin my catch phase by extending to the target and grabbing water is that it always seems faster and effortless due to a rocking and bobbing motion I create from my opposite hip kick down to my arm extending forward upon entry. Does this rhythm sound right to anyone? Anyhow I do notice the SPL are a few strokes less at he beginning.

Does anyone have any additional swimming tips for me to keep in mind for my future swims and how to improve my time?

Thanks in advance :)
