![]() hi, i'm a new for learning butterfly by the movie from youtube:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=twGoqn1_wWM&t=697s here are some problem: 1. when i'm pulsing my chest, just can't help kicking my leg, is this normal? 2. maybe my ankle doesn't have flexibility, i bought fin and expected some progress, but it doesn't work for me, i can't move forward without fin, even worse, i move back when i tried do the head-lead dolphin. could i ask for some suggestion from you? or just practice more? |

![]() I also tried to learn butterfly with this program. For me it didn't work at all.
I wasn't able to connect the arm movement with the body dolphin. I at least learned butterfly with the DVD "Betterfly for everybody". The concept is different. You first learn the idea of the dolphin movement, then, very early you learn the arm stroke to assist the dolphin. The arms help to do a fluent body movement and find the correct timing, not the other way round. I began about 11 month ago (without anyone to coach me and with training about once a week) my butterfly is going quite well. Greetings, Inge |
