![]() it looks like you are effective in bringing a lot of weight to the front to bring the legs up. The front quadrant idea seems to be working.
Your basics looks ok. Now try to control your balance and kick a bit more to make a clean 2 bk without extra kicks or that kneebending. You can switch this with giving more power to your stroke. See if you can keep form under more pressure. Nice start! |

![]() +1 nice start
In addition to ZT's contributions, I see a little pause in your low-side hand before it exits the water. Sometimes that happens when people spend a lot of time in Skate. Try to keep the moving arm moving - no pause at the hips. Keep up the good work. You have a really good foundation from which to build. |

![]() Your stroke looks pretty good, but unless you're going to limit yourself to swimming one length at a time of what looks like a fairly short pool, you're going to need to breathe at some point. I'm wondering what your stroke looks like when you add breathing.

![]() Thanks for the replies!
I'll try to work on both the kick timing, continuity and some more strength to the stroke, and then hopefully upload another video from a normal size pool with breathing. |
