Default how to attach pictures to a thread

Although I have posted numerous pictures in discussions up until now, all of a sudden it seems I am no longer able to do this. There is an icon for "insert image", but this only takes a URL. My recollection is that I used to be able to upload .jpeg files, but this no longer seems possible. Or am I merely having a senior moment, where I no longer see the appropriate button on my screen? Can anyone help me out?

Senior moment .... Select the down arrow, attachment dialog will appear, select file, upload - that should do it.

Hi Stuart,

Not out of my senior moment quite yet. At the top of this window are 4 buttons: Fonts, Sizes, Colors, and Attachments. But when I select the down arrow on Attachments, nothing is happening, in contrast to the other 3 buttons. Maybe this is a software problem on my computer. Not sure. It worked a week or two ago.

It could be your browser, did you recently move to Chrome? Firefox and Safari the attach dialog renders (I have Mac). Possibly pop up blocker might be turned on.

Danny, in the compose or normal reply mode (not QUICK REPLY), scroll down to the Additional Options section and in the Attach Files block click on "Manage Attachments." BROWSE to your file and UPLOAD it.

Thanks, guys. Problem solved. On my Mac I can upload attachments, and I can also do it from my PC but only using Google Chrome. For some reason on Windows Internet Explorer I can't. Don't know exactly why not, but at least I understand that it's a problem with my browser.
