Two Beat Kick/Core Rotation
Been almost 20 months trying to develop whole stroke. There are flashes of yes that was it and two beat kick with good core rotation. (In pool) Fast forward to open water with wetsuit on. Is it common to loose ability to kick when wearing a wetsuit. My legs and butt seem to be held so high it is futile to attempt kicking from the hips as I get no catch. Just got back from northern WI and swam open water basically using only core and arms. Actually felt fine until technique fell apart. Is this a common factor when donning a wetsuit.
