on videos on you tube, from several TI coaches, you can see some differences after their hand entry. Most of the coaches glide with their leading hand close to the water surface. Some coaches however have their leading hand quite deep. Is it better to have a pierced hand just below the surface or doesn't it make any difference? I'm not very flexible in my shoulders so for me it's easier if I don't have to stretch myself with my leading hand just under the surface. But doesn't it creates much more resistance if you keep your leading hand in the gliding position too low?
You can compare for example
and Roy, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5rDAAGChz7A
both are piercing fairly deep
and Gadi, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8cyFvWwkPtM
who are piercing their leading hand just under the surface
Thanks for your answers (and sorry for my english, it's a bit rusty :-))!
