Though I am your virtual student, I am able to absorb you thought completely through the books and videos. I was late beginner in swimming world but, because of your reliable knowledge sharing through books; became a semi aquatic person.

Currently I am source of aspiration for many 40+ crowd around. Every one confirmed the fact that we can learn swimming at any stage of life.

(happy swimmers, not stressed sinkers)…
I am a self taught TI swimmer. Since September 2009. While preparing for my 1st Olympic distance
Triathlon, I bumped into your videos online and stayed up untill 3am watching and listening.

I later invested in books and DVDs, just to pay you back although I didn’t really need them because there is so much free online stuff and I worked hard to perfect my stroke. I first looked like a drunk frog while trying, back When Shinji Takeuchi had “only” a few hundred thousand clicks on his famous “most graceful swimming” video.

Nowadays I can happily say whoever sees me in the water compares me to a fish.

Needless to say I constantly discover new mistakes and keep erasing them out of my “software”.
The word goes around and even though I am not a certified TI Coach and do not charge my friends or friends of friends for my knowledge and teachings, I always credit Mr. Laughlin ( Which I now simply call Terry, after watching countless hours of You speaking, I feel I know you personally)

and TOTAL IMMERSION. I started calling it the modern man’s swimming Hi-tech.

I am to some what you will always to be to me and that alone brings happy tears to my eyes as I write. BLESS YOU TERRY and thank you so much for being such a hard working genius.

I truly hope to swim with you one day.

Local coaches might know of someone who has contacted them and appears very keen to improve but genuinely cannot afford the fees, accommodation, transport and subsistence costs. No one need know on the course of the financial support except you and the local coach… why should anyone else be told unless that delegate chooses to go public? I’d be happy to send you ten quid.
