thanks for the post. I&#039;ve been practising TI for almost a year now. Previously I had so so pool technique. I still don&#039;t have great speed, but swimming TI does seem almost effortless.
I started TI mostly so I could swim Triathlons. Everyone raves about wetsuits, and how they make swimming faster.
My own experience differs a bit - I can quite easily swim 1500m in the pool in 30 minutes, but in the sea with the wetsuit, it takes me 35. Even allowing for a bit of non straight swimming, I am surprised by this.
In some ways I feel that all the good TI technique I have learned is of limited use in a wetsuit. Hopefully by following the tips you mentioned I can make back some of this lost time.
If not I may have to be one of the few swimming without one.
