Dave, I'm a novice. I started swimming the TI way about a year ago and have advanceded to a point where I can do 2500 yards or better (depending on how I'm feeling that on a particular day)in the pool. My problem is I'm getting bored. I don't want swimming to get bland. When I'm in the pool I'm focus on breathing, stroke, the two beat kick, etc...but because I've pushed myself so far now, I don't want to walk away from it because of boredom.

As a novice, I'm not up on a lot of the swimming venacular, but is tempo something I can use to "change up" my routine??
