Thanks so much for chronicling your process -- it&#039;s very motivating to me (even as a novice swimmer).  I&#039;m starting to believe I&#039;ll be able to swim with ease just about any distance I choose. I have plenty of focused practice to do before that&#039;s a reality, but I can see the glimmers of possibility.

The speed work you&#039;ve done is so counter to what I expected when I first started to learn to swim (1.5 years ago).  Like most folks, I thought it was all about going harder, longer.  I&#039;m glad that&#039;s not the case!

I hope you&#039;ll continue to blog here.  I&#039;m interested to hear how it goes for you.
