Curriculum:
Saturday (9:00am – 4:00pm)
TI Session 1: (2hr
15min)
TI Session 1 will begin with a “before” video
of your current stroke (if one exists)
which will be used during a video
analysis session before lunch.
TI session 1 will then begin with the basic balance skills of drag
reduction. You will learn proper head position, postural alignment,
achieve effortless ease and support from the water. You will also learn how
to breathe during the balance drill sequence. TI session 1 will progress to
the introduction of whole body movement. You will
begin to imprint effortless core body rotations with accuracy and consistency
through the first drill of the switching drill sequence.

Bring your own lunch, information will be provided to the dining options within
close proximity of the workshop location.
CR Session 1: (2hrs)
CR session 1 will begin with an introduction to the keys of effortless, injury

TI Session 2: (2hrs 15min)
TI session 2 will begin by introducing the second of the switching
drill sequence, which develops the skills needed to initiate the recovery
phase of the stroke

on the water to full arm recovery. You will use simple arm rehearsals to continue

from drilling to swimming with coordination, ease and flow. Session 2 will
conclude with a second video taping of some drilling, and an “after” view
of the freestyle stroke.
Lunch Break: (1hr)
Bring your own lunch, information will be provided to the dining options within
close proximity of the workshop location.
CR Session 2: (1hr 30min)
CR Session 2 will begin with core muscle drills and exercises to continue developing
and reinforcing the skills learned in session 1. Session 2 will incorporate
the CR technique to hills, and conclude with a video taping for classroom analysis.
Classroom Session: (1hr 30min)
