![]() oops! you already had DPS
This from one of Terry's posts: "Wingspan Conversion factor--ratio of wingspan to height." - can't figure whether it's wingspan over height or height over wingspan though :(

![]() I know this would be an expansion of your list into a dictionary but ... in the Garmin literature they define a stroke as being counted "every time the watch arm completes a full cycle". This seems to be half that used in other definitions where a stroke is defined as a cycle of either arm. Is there any way to make it clear which definition is being used (at least here)?

![]() What?!? From a search this seems to be the first time the phrase "Lactate Threshold Heart Rate" has appeared on these forums. I'm wondering if it's helpful here to expand the definition of swimming acronyms to include medical ones?

![]() i might have used "LT HR" vs. "LTHR" or maybe i thought i have used it. this is a medical term but more commonly encountered in training circles. it refers to the HR at which you reach your LT, used mostly if you're training via HR.
