Default Dome for outdoor pool

Our local outdoor pool is thinking about getting a dome for offseason use. We are in Madison Wisconsin and the pool is only open from Memorial Day to Labor Day. It is a 50 meter 8-lane pool with a diving well with 2 low boards only.

We would like to keep the outdoor feel of it in the summertime -- many of the members enjoy the chance to get outside for the fresh air and sunshine.
So we are looking for some type of adaptable structure that could be as open as possible in the summer, and enclosed the rest of the time.

I don't know if it is practical to make it a year-round facility -- since we are in Wisconsin the winters are pretty cold and heating this type of facility during the coldest part of winter could be prohibitive. But if we could extend the season from March 1 to December 1 that could be an attractive option. (Of course, other local indoor pools don't make it easy to join up for just 3 months.) A major factor could be that if we kept it up the whole winter it would have to be able to withstand the weight of snow, which last year was quite a lot.

Does anyone know of any pools that are enclosed in this kind of way, either a complete temporary enclosure, or some sort of modular system with removable roof and/or walls?

Default Indoor/Outdoor Pool

The JFK Recreation Center in Newark, NJ uses this kind of approach. It has a retractable roof, so in the warmer months it becomes an outdoor pool, but the rest of the year it is an indoor pool.
