![]() Hello,
I downloaded the effortless endurance self coaching course and have been at it for ~3 weeks. I can go about 4 strokes before standing up. I am interested in taking the workshop this month but am worried if I am too much of a beginner. Could you please let me know your thoughts. I think the workshop can help but wanted to check. Thanks, V |

![]() I would take the workshop....you don't need to be able to swim a distance to pick up he skills that will be taught.

![]() I agree. That hands on help at the workshop will clarify whether you're getting the right self interpretation of the self-coaching course that you've got, and will give you great clarity. Later on, after the workshop you can continue to review the self-coaching course on your own, and it will make much more sense, now that you have confirmed or maybe modified your sense of what the course was teaching you. The workshop ought to be a real time saver in accelerating your learning and insight.

To attend a TI workshop, you should be able to swim at least 50 meters (two lengths in a 25m pool). Any swimmer who can meet this requirement is welcomed at the workshop, no matter how slow or difficult the 50 meter swim may be. |

![]() Hello veti,
I'd urgently recommend jumping into the workshop. You'll get many new insights, general and individual. If you're still inscecure, ask the instructor/organisator of the workshop how she'll deal with your beginner-state. Many drills will be shortened down in time or "swim it with 4-6strokes, stand up, look back, reorganize and swim another 4-6strokes" and every hint or hand on will be highly individualized for what your stroke needs... And if you have to "warm up" some meters too much, swim breaststroke or backstroke, or take your breathers with standing up some more often... Let us know what happened. Best regards, (Coach)Werner PS: All TI-workshops I know are with one coach per 3-4 students. So even if the skills are very different there was time enough for everyone's needs. End last but not least everyone has to work on the BSP-foundations... As (even) Terry shows us how to do... |

and if nothing else the workshop will get you started on those BSP skills.... I would love to attend another workshop after my first one with Terry himself in 1997 |

![]() Thank you, I am going to sign up shortly.
I cant swim more than 10 yards continuously but have been doing 200-250 yards every day by standing up and starting again. I did reach out to the coach via email, Will post once I complete the workshop. V |
