Default First OW Swim

swam the gloucester clean harbor 2K swim yesterday. water was 62 degrees. 117 swimmers participated. i was one of the twenty or so that swam without a wetsuit (don't have one).

been swimming for almost a year now, after a 20 year hiatus. i'd like to thank all of you on this site for helping me learn and develop my TI stroke. It's a stroke that needs work as my left arm always seems to be surrounded by the bubble class reunion, but my goal was to finish with stroke and dignity intact, which i did fairly well, finishing 96th, time unknown. i couldn't have done it without you all!

thanks again,

neilsen

Neilsen, first off congratulations on finishing the race the TI way and feeling that you are making progress. Secondly, way to go swimming naked, 62F is no joke and you made me proud out here on the left coast where our high would be 62

Keep it up buddy!
