Default Nothing wrong with it-

As I've moved out of my racing body, did a marathon and some marathon swims, I've lost a lot of flexibility in my ankles. All my strokes are a little different as a result, but remember that even a top swimmer depends on their form and their core engine to do most of the motion.

A danger many backstrokers and freestylers fall into as their ankles lose flexibility is that they let them stay in that running pose. It tucks the foot deeper and sets up a perpendicular wall on the foot. It's still worth it to point within a comfortable range of motion.
