Default TI swimmers in Germany

Are there any TI swimmers in Germany? Especially in the southern part? Would love to hear from you.

Petra

Default TI swimmer in South Germany

Hallo Petra,
my name is Dagmar. Since about one year I practise Ti swimming. I started my training with Terry Laughlin's book "Total Immersion: Schwimmen nach Art der Fische"
For me a very good book and well translated into German language. I also bought the DVDs
"Easy Freestyle" and "O2 in H2O". Last autumn I followed a TI training weekend in Switzerland and trained with Marco Pillaud and his trainers.
I go to the swimming hall 2 - 3 times per week and train around 90 minutes.
I am already 58 years old. For me it is a real pleasure to develop my swimming ability with the TI drills.
I had problems to understand what this "anchor the hand" should feel like.
Two days ago my mind and body discovered it. You can't imagine how happy I was.

I life in the German Alps (in Sonthofen)
If you like to contact me, just give me a sign

Hi Petra,

I live in Munich and swim "with TI" for approx. eight years. Where are you from? And what is your experience with TI? Cheers. janedoemuc

Hi,

I know Sonthofen. This is unfortunately a little bit too far for me. Nevertheless good luck for you.

Greetings
Petra

Hi,

I'm from Regensburg. I swim since 20 years and with TI two years. TI changed my way of swimming and now I feel more comfortable in the water than before. Where do you swim in Munich? Long years ago I swam in Olympiabad regularly.

Greetings
Petra

Hi Petra,

pleasure to make your acquaintance. Regensburg is Ironman-city now ;o)

I learned freestyle/front crawl properly with TI in 2004 and the other strokes soon after, too.

I swim in several public pools in Munich (not at the same time, of course) and a couple of public pools on the outskirts of Munich (south/south-east), also in lakes in that area (not yet; water temperature is still to low for my kind of taste).

Olympiaschwimmhalle is great with its 50m lanes (where they really hung lane separators (?) in) and the water feels kind of fast.

I have no fixed pool (which I use always) but choose the pools for my convenience, i.e. where I think I can swim my laps w/o disturbance as in most of our public pools there are no lanes (lane seperators).

Cheers. janedoemuc

Default TI coach in Munich

Hi there,

Anyone knows if there's any English-speaking TI coaches in Munich? I'm staying in Munich for a few weeks, and would love to learn TI swimmming if I can find a coach.

Linda
