Default a cross over check

Dont know where I read it anymore, but I found it a good check.

We strive for not entering the arms with much bubbles, but if you do create bubbles its easy to check if you are crossing over.
If you are, you will see the bubbles of the hand entry flowing by in front of your goggles if you look down.
If you enter wider the bubbles are only at the sides, so not near the center.
So obvious, but I never thought about it.

It is true that you think you do not overcross and it feels like you do not, but when you see a video of yourself you see something else...

I had this and now I deliberately tell my hands to move to the outside when they enter the water. Before I told my hands to go straight on, but I think due to rotation and maybe forces of the water the arm on video still went to the center

Makes sense?

yeah. With a compact bent elbow recovery and dragging the hand through the water the change of crossing over is less, but when using a straight arm recovery swinging wide, its difficult to keep the arms pointing straight forward after entry.
It can be done though ;-)
