Default A clear view! re goggles

I finally got myself a new pair of goggles. I chose blue lenses. They are BRILLIANT for INDOOR lighting (i.e lighting with a bias towards the red end of the spectrum).

Similarly orange is (supposed to be, I haven't bought a pair, yet) good for low light conditons OUTDOORS dusk/dawn/overcast (i.e lighting with a bias towards the blue end of the spectrum).

Anyway I was AMAZED. When I first put them on things did seem a lot brighter and clearer, especially the water, but it was only when I took them off that I appreciated how huge their effect was. It looked as if the lights had suddenly been turned down! It is like magic. Consequently I put them on and off just for the fun of it.

Some ime back I asked the question here about which were better for indoor lighting orange or blue lenses. The answer as far as I am concerned is clear. It's BLUE.
