Default Help me

Hi,

I've been looking at some of my Garmin swim data and trying to figure out what it all means. The key metrics are:

25m pool
Ave pace 1.50/100
Ave strokes 10 (=20 since it count one arm only)

I've been reading a lot on SS and elsewhere about stroke rate, annoyingly the Garmin doesnt seem to show this?

How can I work out my stroke rate?!

Thanks in advance!

This would be how I would do it:

Convert Time into seconds: 110secs
Subtract turn time (I estimate this at 5secs per turn): 110 - 15sec = 95 secs
Then divide total stroking time by total strokes: 95/80 = 1.18secs/stroke

If you can get a more accurate figure for you turns, this will of course improve the accuracy of the calculation.
