To move through the water with the peaceful grace of an eagle soaring an updraft!

There are speeds and distances that I can swim with ease at and those I consider successes. There are also many where I have not had that success so on with the quest.
All the best.

Ian Thorpe recently said (from memory so not a quote)

If I have done all my preparation with maximum effort and to the best of my abilities then regardless of the result i will have succeeded.

Swimming success for me is a daily practice that enhances my life and well being.

Swimming is my best way of self expression. If my swimming has my fingerprint after a mindful practice; it is a success. ( Being more materialistic; 10k in less then 3 hours is a great success for me )

Success is to swim mindfully in perfect harmony with the water, graceful and fluent like a dolphin.

As a beginner, swimming success to me is getting from where I am now to "Unconscious Competence".
