That's ok Talvi I don't mind you gate crashing :)
Bob will be able to give you more expert advice but from my own experience over the last couple of weeks I have found setting the TT to 1:00 which is very fast for me has made me take my breath quicker out of necessity to keep in time with the beep. I now do this when I am swimming at a slower tempo and have noted how it keeps me moving forward more easily. I'm guessing that the longer it takes to get a breath the more drag there is.
The 2 mile swim in 55 minutes has since eluded me. The fastest I have managed it after has been 72 minutes. As I count lengths in increments of 10 I've begun to think I may have miscounted and it wasn't 55 minutes at all!

Still sounds not at all shabby to me Raini!!

I've only got down to 1.2 on the TT (which I find tough going) but I'll keep your insight in mind. Thanks :)
