Default Rehab after shoulder surgery

I am a 41 year old TI swimmer from Israel. Due to a non-swimming accident I hurt my shoulder and two weeks ago had a surgery to repair a completely torn long biceps tendon and a torn rotator cuff tendon. This is very frustrating and shuttered my plans to participate in the coming open water events (the most interesting one is the annual 'three days-three seas' which consists of three 10k swims, each day in a different sea - sea of galilee, mediterranean sea and the red sea). I am currently in a sling for 4 weeks starting passive rehabilitation. I would be very intrested to hear from the rehabilitation experience of others - tips and drills are more than welcome. Thank you.
