Default Question re Lesson 3.1 Laser Lead Rotation

I am unclear as to the Laser Lead Rotation. Am I to be able to rotate from Superman Glide to my back by bringing my arms straight back? If I sweep one arm I am able to rotate to my back; but I cannot seem to rotate without some sort of sweep. Hmm, I am using terminology for canoe paddling strokes, e.g. sweeps, draws and prys; I do know how to describe my arm movements in swimming terminology <grin>.

Hi Don

I think most people will understand 'sweeps', but as a non-canoeist, I have no idea what you mean by 'draws' and 'prys'.

Prys and draws are paddling maneuvers to move a canoe sideways in the water, e.g. the canoe is parallel to a dock, but it is too close or not close enough. Sooo, my "explanation" was likely more confusing than helpful. That would be quite a trick to move our bodies sideways <grin>. Although, now that I think of it, if we roll enough times we might make sideways progress; but I am stumped as to a use for such a maneuver.
