Default First quality race swim

Came second overall in a 4mi/400yd pool-swim aquathlon today. Went out to really hammer the run, then planned to swim my first continuous 400yd (ever) easy and comfortably.

My focal point was on swimming silently and, though my SPL was significantly elevated in the first 200yd, I eventually got within 2 SPL of my normal count. I swam the full 400 without a single need to stop and only one short moment of breathlessness. There was even a section in our lazy river (ie, no lanes!) during which I got to swim 112 uninterrupted strokes! Ultimately, I averaged 2:02/100yd.

Thank you to everyone on here who has provided feedback to my questions! I'll post two videos tonight on this thread of where I was in February and where I was as of yesterday, thanks to TI and the people on this forum.

Best luck to all of you in your practice.
