Default Total Immersion - Simile

I absolutely love the Simile's used by Terry and the Total Immersion family. I wanted to try to get a list of ones being used.

Things like :
- Put your arm through one hole in the water like you putting it through the sleeve of a shirt.

What are some of your favorites?

Hi Joe,

Is this Coach Novak? If so, I'm a big fan of yours!

Re: Similes used by Terry and TI. Throw/drive momentum of the recovery arm forward, think forward - not back, the shape of the vessel matters more than the size of the engine, hip-drive, inside-out swimming, focus on one thing at a time, chunking, hold the line, soft limbs, core stability, mindful practice, engage the mind first - the body will follow, swim with whole body movements ... I go on for pages.

Stuart

Hello Joe,

my two favorites just now:

- hold the stroke/press feather-light

- swim a stroke as being immersed in silk

Best regards,
Werner
