I'm 56 and only began learning to swim two years ago (and I hope I'll be learning for the rest of my life). I like to go back to the feeling and rhythm imprinted in me as a child, when I was an avid skater. When I use "skating" for a focal point, it seems to naturally keep my tracks wide and makes the timing of my 2bk feel natural.

Does the fact that they float cause any trouble? What do you think of these? They can be filled with water to reduce buoyancy. http://www.swimoutlet.com/product_p/18352.htm
