Default Thanks

Thanks to all.

It's good to know that even in the TI desert of Oaxaca, I can find support.

This video was my first view of myself. 'Shocking' is probably a more accurate description than humbling. However, your careful analysis, considered advice, and words of encouragement, helped me turn the shock into a challenge.

I will postpone my focus of increasing tempo, and go back to basics. My plan of action is listed below in order of time-to-improvement.

1. Quiet my legs.
2. Improve shoulder flexibility (I have two old injuries as an excuse).
3. Improve the recovery.

I will keep using the camera to monitor my progress, and will post another video when I can see a change.

Thanks again

P.S. I already have a question regarding the leg work. I will check the forum, and if I can't find an answer, I will post it on a separate thread.

There are no other TI swimmers in Oaxaca, Mexico, so I would appreciate any comment.

I started to learn freestyle using the TI Video and booklet about a year ago, but swam only a few months. I was happy to complete 1000 meters in the Ocean. It took a bit more work to do it in the pool.

My current SPL: 19, at a Tempo of 1.3 s/stroke.
you are great...THE HARDEST or easiest part to get is THE TWO BEAT KICK

right flick of foot ...left hand enter...

make it that simple...than you to are shinji..........your welcome in advance
