Default New to TI needs help...

I've been swimming the TI way for about a year and have come a long way from the almost cliche, 1-2 laps, and sucking air phase. I'm now swimming 2500 yards or better without stopping, other than to drown down some water for hydration purposes.

My dilemma is boredom. I'm not versed on the venacular used in here, so I need to have it explained in Lamens terms. I focus my energies on the stoke, high elbow, the two-beat kick, during these long swims, but need to spice up my Freestyle routine by breaking up the routine.

Tell me, what can I do? I would love to pay for a TI chunk of training, but that's a pretty penny, and the funding just isn't there.
