![]() Hi There!
I am interested in learning to swim via TI. I just bought the book "The Revolutionary Way to Swim, Better, Faster and Easier" on Kindle. Reading forums etc, it seems this might be outdated. On the TI website, there are so many options I don't know where to start! Can anyone recommend where I should start? What videos (need a download and not a DVD) and book I should begin with? Any help is greatly appreciated! |

![]() Hi roblouiswalsh
Warm welcome to the forum and the TI world! The very best way to start is to be coached by a TI-coach. http://www.totalimmersion.net/get-coached/find-a-coach The second best is to use the downloadable e-book bundle Ultra Efficient Freestyle aka 1.0 Effortless Endurance Self-Coaching Course http://www.totalimmersion.net/store/...l#.WiZ0V7Q-eEL In my coaching I use that book as course literature. After a lesson the student can go back and read and look at videos how to perform a certain drill. |

![]() Thanks so much for the info!
I live in Toronto and there doesn’t seem to be any coaches based here so I will proceed with option 2! Thanks for your help with this! Can’t wait to get started!! |

![]() Good luck, and enjoy your journey with TI. I started with the original first book, and I think the current videos (like the one recommended) are even better.

![]() I started swimming a few years back and this is the most i have swam in my life. Last week I did a triathlon with 1k swimming. I came last out of the water, but for me an achievement. I want to do a mile open water swim after Christmas.
Where can I get a coach nearby. It seems the nearest is in South Africa which is almost 2,000km from us. I am from Namibia |

![]() Hey!
Fantastic that you're planning on learning to swim with TI! What has been your swimming experience so far? Never been in the water or some previous experience but want that confidence in the water? |
