Default What to do after original TI books?

Hi everyone,

I guess this question is directed at the folks at TI headquarters or the TI coaches.

I originally learned how to swim using the TI method back in the early 2000s using the original TI books: TI and TI (revised & updated).

Now I'd like to re-learn the TI method using the current methodology.

I've been on the TI Web site and there are various books and DVDs available.

Can anyone recommend which ones to get?

Thanks,
Glenn in Toronto

For DVD's - easy freestyle, backstroke for every body, breaststroke for everybody, and betterfly for everybody.

Books- Extraordinary swimming for every body

This should give you all the latest info.

I went through the same question and after some research settled on 'Easy Freestyle' DVD instead of 'Perpetual Motion Freestyle' which HQ said was the most up to date; this was because in 'Easy Freestyle' Lesson 7 has open turn and flip turn whereas the other one apparently doesn't. I also bought 'Outside the Box' which should have all the perpetual Motion techniques (dvd in my hot little hands but not opened the wrapping yet because of being too busy watching Easy Freestyle repeatedly and practicing.

There are some differences between the TI book and this Easy Freestyle. Drills are different and no longer are we to do stacked shoulders, for example.

Also Forums, Blogs, and video clips can get some messages through in various ways.
Am not coach of staff but hope this fresh experience might help.
Cheers
