I answered for Open Water rather than in a pool.

"I would most like to feel . . ." that I have become a confident swimmer .... that is to say - feel in complete control.

I would most like to feel...

...transcendent. That's how I feel after my best swims.

Transcendent - I like the sound of the word.
I found this definition: "extending or lying beyond the limits of ordinary experience."

These are all excellent choices. I would answer the poll differently from day to day depending on my state of mind. I enjoy the practice of TI swimming so much because I am free to chose my focus every time I get in the water. When I go to the pool, my focus is not just a sequence of technique focal points, it is also a focus on achieving a state of mind. I use TI to achieve balance in my life as much as it enables me to achieve balance in my swimming.

That's a nice definition...and that's often how I feel. There's no single way to describe it. Swimming really is like a drug to me...it's a big part of what keeps me going back over and over again. Aftwarwards, I just feel like i'm elevated, floaty, I have a deeply rooted muscle sense of relaxation, and I often can't do any significant thinking work the rest of the day because I"m so relaxed. I often drop things after I swim...because I misjudge how much effort it takes to hold them. I'm just so relaxed.
