Default Help with IT not TI / video downloads

To all you nontechno challenged on this forum. Please help how do I download a video clip for review by members of this forum. I do not have a clue as I am at about a 2 on scale of 10 for internet use of things like facebook, youtube....
Please make it simple and do not assume I know anything, well maybe some but not much.

Any help will be much appreciated. Have a great day and thanks to all and to all a Happy New Decade.

I assume you mean "upload". Download would be to save something to your computer, upload would be to send something from your computer.

Is that correct? And if so do you already have a file you can view on your own computer?

I think you're close then. Have you registered an account on http://youtube.com ?
Once you've registered, Youtube has an "Upload" button which should guide you.
Basically you just need to click that Upload button and then select a clip from your computer.

Yes I have a registered account with youtube. Just did it last week but have never used basically not knowing what to do. How do I get from youtube to the TI forum for members to review. I see these links that all it takes is a click and they open.

Once you have your video uploaded, you can just click on the "share" link below it. It will show something like http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rddHPTCt_8U
then you just post that text here.

Can you post the URL you see in your browser when you see the video in youtube?

It will start with:
www.youtube.com/watch

Westy,

You're welcome. I can't check the link while I'm at work, but that should be all you need.

Anyone clicking on the link should see the video.
