Default Please help me to improve more (video)

Hi,
Here is a link to a video I made today of myself :
video (if you right clic and choose 'save as', the quality is better)

Last week, I swam a 800m in 13min.54, I'm very pleased of this, last year, my time was 15min.40. But I would like to improve more...
Do you have any remarks to make from the video to help me to swim faster ?
Thank you
Pascal

You seem to be sinking a little on every stroke. Maybe you should work on better balance. Just a thought.

Most obvious thing that jumps at me is that you are not swimming in a straight line. Your head is visibly oscillating left to right, but I can't tell why from that angle. I think an above water video might help painting a more comprehensive picture.

Looks very nice - I don't see you struggling against the water.

First thing I see is that your left hand is swinging out wide through the stroke. Maybe enter a little wider, and try to keep the stroke 'on the rails' as defined by your shoulder width. That might help cure some of the wander Rincewind points out. Can't see what's going on with the feet. Can you post another video?

Hi,
Thanks for your answers, I agree with all of you.

Ananth : Yes my hips are sinking, especially on my right side just before the kick, I don't know what to do to fix that.

Rincewind, tomoy : yes my head goes from left to right, do you think it's because of a too narrower entry ?

I have another video, from above, here is the link :
video

Thanks again
Pascal

without a side angle it looks like your left arm at least is bracing upwards a bit when you rotate to breathe?
