Default Take it sloooooow... Balance Balance Balance

For Fooboo, who doesnt like young wild splashers ;-(

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EG5n6AC81ug

Is it a balancing equivalent of balancing on your bike while waiting for the trafficlight to turn green?
Anyway, nice to see people playing around in the pool, doing their own stuff.

He has more interesting videos

All this balancing stuff pays of to make a nice endresult:

His rushed pull sucks,(plus more chest press and more straight bodyline wanted) but the big picture is pretty amazing.

I peacefully come to the pool to drink healthy mineral
water and they, with no reason, want to swim in it.
Could you imagine? Even more! They tend to go in
one direction first, then back. And again, And again.
Somebody has to stop them!
Now, when we identified the problem, it might be solved.

I like this one by the same uploader.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BJFk0y3euOQ

The lady in the next lane is definitely an experienced swimmer, by my count she does 22 strokes per length which is decent, but the uploader of the video passes her with almost no effort.

Anyway it takes him more than 1 minute to cover 50m...

Not everybody can do these tricks.

- He is more buoyant than most of us.
- His natural balance is better than most of us.

Only if you have these assets your able to float forward with minimal action.
He still is good at balancing though , even with these physical advantages, so he really seems to spend little energy going at 2min/100m.

If he holds his breath for 2 min he probably can cover 25 m in one stroke.

His fore-aft balance is more or less given, but I find the slow motion balancing around the central axis impressive.

.
YOu are so right. Look at his buoyancy here in this video:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=efO4bPFM6fI

He must have like 'bird bones' or something.

When I do the first buoyancy test (near-fetal position), I am way below the waterline. Sheesh.

Maybe when I am 90 I won't have osteoporosis though. Look on the bright side.

Avarage male density is about half a head above water with full lungs.
He has about about half a head above water and that same volume floating above his lungs also, so a full head above water, which is way above avarage.
If he would straighten his back he could use the buoyency above his lungs even better.

I feel almost sorry for Sclim letting him see this footage.
At least he can become balanced, only riding lower in the water.
