Default bodysuits

yup- they're already banned in high school competitions for this season.

If competing doesn't matter to you, there's a lot of suit specials out now as a result of this!

Ah, good point! I could use some extra buoyancy!

(Really, I think the suits should be allowed. As it is, there isn't a huge market for swim stuff since only a minimum of equipment is needed. I'd would think it would be more profitable to promote football than swimming. Could that be partly why football is so much more popular?)

I actually wondered about these suits, and how long they would be around. The suits are a great idea in theory but not what swimming is all about. I wonder if the world records set when these suits were worn will be rescinded, and if not, the records will be harder to break I suppose.

Why can't swimmers have new technology? How many other sports require athletes to be almost naked? I think some people are turned off by the skimpy suits in swimming and maybe in wrestling. heh

Along those lines, basketball players should still be wearing the classic Converse shoes. http://www.shoedeals4u.com/images/shoes/large/1V463.jpg

Consider the oldschool American football helmet. http://www.springdaleark.org/shiloh/...ive/helmet.jpg
