Kicking and TI for kids or adults?
two comments - regarding TI for adults vs kids - I play in both camps, and the interesting thing I find is the techiques taught by age group coaches are the same as TI teaches, its just TI matches better to how many adults learn (ie we adults think too much where kids will simply imitate a motion) but the keys to balance, body position etc are the same. In terms of teaching kicking to adults there are some differences from body mass, ankle flexibility etc but it helps to know what the goal is - ie to propel you through the water or to set up your hip rotation? it helps to know what makes a kick work and what is counter productive.
