Default Some interesting TI videos

Hello all

I was doing one of my periodic trawls through my youtube subscriptions this morning and came across these videos, which I thought would be of interest to most of us. There is a high probability that you will see one of these swimmers demonstrating a fault that you have yourself. I certainly spotted a few of mine.

With 308 videos to watch, you can also hone your own fault spotting skills. It makes a change from watching elite swimmers, anyway. (;-)

Correcting the faults is another thing, of course.

Gail is a very focused and technically oriented tri coach, not just TI coach...

I really enjoy her compilations of swimmers and you are right, they make some really great eye candy for swim analysis.

Great find.

She's got him doing the big kickstart thing after the glide. Did she deliberately coach that?

I've just realized that your signature isn't a self expression but a dig at TI.

Looks like a swimmer making progress to me. It is a big kick and long glide but that is a big improvement. As the kick tightens up and the streamlining improves and the stroke rate comes up a bit I would expect this swimmer will be far above mediocre.

It seems to me that is marked improvement in all the 'after' videos. Naturally there are still things that can be improved but TI is not a magic potion.

Richardsk,

shurely Asterix and Obelix (do you know them?) would have their own non-TI style and would win every competition... doped by their magic potion.. :-)

Regards,
Werner

Asterix Obelix and Getafix would all be unbeatable after one drink of the magic potion. We ordinary mortals have to keep returning to the source of the magic.
