Default body roll/hip drive as focus point

I have been on a plateau for several weeks using mail slot, wide tracks, timing spearing and opposite side kick as focus points. So today I focused on body rolling as a unit when spearing. Did not get into the hip snapping as I wanted to get the timing correct.
Did 6x100m's then 6x75m's with enough rest to do these easily. The last 4 100's were 3 seconds faster than the first two which were at plateau speed. The 75's were faster as well. So am pleased and buzzed.
I rolled the body in time with the spearing arm. As I was not trying to swim fast the roll was quite leisurely. Next swim I will pick up the tempo and perhaps the hip snap will arrive. As the hip is a steady 45 degrees elevated with each stroke I imagine there will be more of a snap if the tempo in quicker. Anyone out there who finds that snapping the hip while swimming leisurely is advantageous?

Yes, I've found that i get more of a "spurt" forward if I focus on this. I also have to focus on "laser beam" at the same time, or the hips feel too draggy to snap easily.
