Default no snap in fast pace

so thats what was killing me.. and I blamed my wrist on everything even when it wasnt involved.
just back from the pool. its a great thing that i am going almost everyday to the pool at this period of my life. i am finding my issues one by one and i eliminate my nonsense. when i was swimming faster focusing on time, i was forgeting to do the snap because i was in such a hurry to start the recovery..
two focal points for me now:
1) always check i engage the forearm and not the wrist during the pull.
2) always do the Shinji snap in every pace and condition.

should not be hard to remember these. awareness is the big thing. once i am aware, i can do that.

when i was cruising relaxed and focusing on my moves i did the snap. when i started to try and swim fast, my brain wasnt checking the snap phase and was jumping from pull to recovery.. "part of the learning curve.."

btw, i swam today two sessions of 250 meters (10 laps of 25m on each session) in 4.15 minutes each session. 5 minutes break between the two sessions. if i can hold that, it means 17 minutes on 1KM. "In my dreams?!..." my record is 19.40 on 1KM after doing the basic TI course. before the TI i was doing 25 minutes on 1KM best time ("great"...)

a direct answer to your question: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DmTkE...eature=related
be aware: its the Shinji style which is different from the classic TI style. Classic TI does not use the snap.
