There's a two day workshop at the Philadelphia Sport Club in Radnor. Check it out at the TI site under Get Coached/Workshops.

I'm not associated with the site or anything. I am going though...

Sorry. I should have included the date: this Saturday and Sunday January 23-24. I spoke to one of the coaches and she said they'd leave the registration open until Wednesday the 20th.

Hope this helps.

Thanks, I did see that, but I don't quite meet the prerequisites.

"All Participants should have basic swimming skills to complete 50 yards continuously and comfortable in deep water."

that's probably due to the pool limitations. Are you from the Philly area? For the same cost of the workshop you could take several one on one lessons with a coach

I agree, Suzanne! I'm in Philadelphia, and coaching again after an enforced sabbatical. See under "Find a coach."

The Liquid Lifestyles workshop in Radnor is in a shallow pool, with excellent coaches, but, in my opinion, it could be pretty overwhelming for a non- or beginning swimmer -- it's a lot of information to take in over two days -- Terry used to say, Like drinking from a fire hose.

Cool. Now you just have to remember to show up at the first lesson!
