I’ve been practising TI for about three years, and never cease to be amazed by the incremental improvement that comes from mindful repetition. There is a distinct difference between intellectually understanding a concept and actually feeling it occur. For myself, different elements (ie: marionette arm, relaxed hand, “catching” the water, etc) have “engaged” at points separated by weeks or months. Each time there is a little bit of surprise, as neuro-muscular understanding replaces supposition. How pleasant and inspiring to know that with each one of thousands upon thousands of strokes, the possibility of a new realization awaits. Kaizen swimming, indeed.
