A question ....

Have any of you noticed any diminished hearing in relation to your swimming time? I generally spend lots of time with my head beneath the water ( don't we all? ) and despite not having any problems with water remaining in my ears for any time after swimming, I've developed tinnitus and my hearing is continually getting worse. Any connection ? Don't know ! Perhaps I should wear ear plugs and now that the cow has escaped the barn maybe I'll close the door.

Never-the-less, do you think there may be a relation to time in chlorinated water and hearing loss? Do most of you wear ear plugs?
