Default A Dryland training idea

Whilst decorating the washing room last week, I found a 3 litre bucket of paint with over 2 litres left in it which I decided to reuse.

In order to mix it I shook it horizontally holding the bucket in my palms and keeping the lid on with my fingers.

it felt like a very good swimming muscle exercise, for example as a tabata set or similar.

There seemed to be something beneficial in the viscosity of the paint, combined with the 2+kg weight, created a sort of workout momentum, and the muscle groups seemed to be consistent with freestyle swimming

any thoughts? or just another Andy idea for the archives?

Andy, don't let it replace swimming, but my cycling team does a core training workout every tuesday and one of hte exercises we do is "salt shaker" as seen in the beginning of this video.

We don't do the crunch part, just the side to side...sounds similar to your paint can, but with a bit more core involvement
