Thanks for the rundown Richard. Had thought of you several times over the weekend. That is a good lesson learned for us aging folk. We need recovery time. In Canada they very often will put a limit on the number of events that a swimmer can enter. For one day meets its usually 4 plus 2 relays and for 2 day it is often 6 plus some relays.
I bet you nail the 800 next time you race it (if rested).
As I am not in any kind of condition for my Provincial meet on mar 31/apr 1, i have only entered the 50, 100, 200 Free and the 50 and 100 Fly. May scrub the 100 fly. Depends now I feel.
