Stroke Efficiency vs. Endurance Training for Upcoming Race
I recently bought the 6-week intermediate freestyle stroke efficiency program e-book. The author says not to worry about working on swimming long distances "unless your race is in the next 6 weeks". Well my next triathlon is coming up soon, and I won't finish the efficiency program before the race. What is the best way to prepare for the race without imprinting the habits I'm trying to unlearn with the technique drills? Or would I do better to forget about racing until I finish the program?
